Among the most important educative modernity challenges two stand out for their utmost urgency: the environmental one and the socio-cultural equity challenge, two strongly related areas. Environmental education can provide a substantial contribution to men and women training as managers and responsible custodians of the planet. The school system and teachers are called to promote a revolution of conscience, supporting the individual and collective sense of responsibility and flexibility. Educating to the environment, in the environment and for the environment stand for a full training of the person in terms of logic and practice.
