The research analyzes an industrial district specialized in the production of furniture. The objective is to outline its evolution and to identify the firms' changing processes. It is noticeable the high grade of adaptability of businesses to changes in the market trends, based on a strong channel driven flexibility. To better meet the market requirements, the function of the district is essential, allowing a free circulation of information and stimulating imitation and innovation processes.
