Abstract
Abandoned stations along the dead tracks of the Montefeltro railway are used here as an occasion for reflecting on those specimens of local heritage that do not possess historic or artistic qualities but are still a testimony to identity and momory among local people. Hence derives the cultural ambiguity and ambivalence of minor cultural heritage, which is discussed in this paper. The author concludes with need to establish priorities for intervention and restoration, if not by a satisfactory conceptual separation of the different categories of cultural heritage.File in questo prodotto:
