Lezioni sulla storia della filosofia.

It is in the lessons on history of philosophy that the hegelian terminology and concepts are created. But Hegel never published the texts of these lessons that have reached us only thanks to manuscripts, notebooks, and notes written by him or by his students. Up till now there had been only one Italian translation of the lessons on history of philosophy, exactly the translation from the 1840-1844 edition, by Karl Ludwig Michelet, after Hegel’s death. In agreement with contemporary studies, this is anyway the translation from another edition: the one referring to the Berlin course of 1825-1826, published in Germany between 1986-1996 edited by Pierre Garniron e Walter Jaeschke. This volume features an introduction and plentiful notes by the editor. It also contains the Italian translation of the hegelian manuscripts related to the lessons between 1820 and 1823. Le lezioni di Hegel sulla storia della filosofia costituiscono il laboratorio concettuale e terminologico del suo sistema di pensiero e delineano lo svolgimento storico che ad esso ha condotto. Tuttavia Hegel non ha mai dato alle stampe i testi dei suoi corsi, di cui resta traccia solo grazie a manoscritti, quaderni, appunti e annotazioni, autografe o dovute agli uditori. La sola traduzione italiana delle lezioni sulla storia della filosofia fino a oggi disponibile riproduceva l’edizione del 1840-44, curata da Karl Ludwig Michelet dopo la morte di Hegel. In linea con la più recente ricerca, a quel testo si è qui preferita l’edizione del corso berlinese del 1825-1826 pubblicata in Germania tra il 1986 e il 1996, a cura di Pierre Garniron e Walter Jaeschke. Il volume è corredato di un apparato di note e di un’introduzione a firma del curatore Roberto Bordoli. In appendice è data la traduzione dei manoscritti hegeliani relativi alle introduzioni ai corsi del 1820 e del 1823.
