The chapter describes the theoretical phases and the didactic methodologies adopted during a course of English Linguistic Pragmatics (especially Politeness strategies and turn taking in conversation). This approach is seen as a useful tool to teach interculturality and the necessary attention anyone has to apply in intercultural contexts. It also contains the analysis of the results deriving from a questionnaire distributed by the students among their foreign friends.
