The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Trauma Studies is the fully peer-reviewed official journal of the Italian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and the Italian Society of Psychotraumatology and Stress (SIPGES) that advances understandings of psychological trauma and its consequences. The journal seeks to contribute to the multidisciplinarity of scientific advancements in the traumatic stress field through the dissemination of knowledge and experience, and by promoting exchange between scholars and practitioners working in the area of trauma. It seeks to explore the intersection of outcome studies with policy and economic manifestation of trauma on policy, the social determinants of psychological trauma, the advancement of treatment and long term conditions.

Abstract
