Abstract

Cultural heritage has universal value for each of us, for communities and societies. It is important to preserve it and pass it on to future generations. We can consider heritage as "something of the past" or as a static element, but in reality, it develops through our way of relating to it. In addition, our cultural heritage has an important role to play in shaping the future of the Euro-Mediterranean area, and this is one of the reasons we want to reach women and young people, especially after 2018 European Year cultural heritage. The paper aims to develop a reflection on training in the field of conservation, restoration and enhancement of cultural heritage combining academic aspects with those of marketing and communication. Research, education and practical experience must be integrated in an optimal way to stimulate local entrepreneurship and safeguard cultural heritage through the use of new technologies. The Euro-Mediterranean countries will have to reflect on their training path, generally in the face of problems of conservation, preservation and valorization: risk management, management, emergency interventions. The general aim is to modernize and adapt the curriculum by introducing a new Euro-Mediterranean curriculum for heritage preservation.
