L’AMEBEO LIRICO-EPIRREMATICO IN ARISTOFANE E IL CASO DELLE VESPE

Il tema s’incentra sulla struttura dell’amebeo lirico-epirrematico. Documentata per la prima volta nel teatro di Eschilo e poi, con una ben apprezzabile evoluzione formale nel teatro di Sofocle e di Euripide, essa risulta copiosamente utilizzata nelle commedie di Aristofane (con una concentrazione specifica nelle commedie più antiche). Dopo una generale sintesi sull’uso di questa forma poematica nel teatro tragico e nella commedia di Aristofane, è esaminato il caso particolare delle Vespe, che esibisce il più alto numero di amebei lirico-epirrematici. The lyric-epirrhematic amoebaean in Aristophanes and the case of Wasps · The paper focuses on the structure of the lyric-epirrematic amoibaion. This structure is documented for the first time in Aeschylus’ theatre, then, with a very appreciable formal evolution in Sophocles’ and Euripides’ theatre, and it is also copiously used in Aristophanes’ Comedies, with a specific concentration in the most ancient pieces. After a brief outline on the use of this poematic form in ancient Greek theatre, is examined the case study of the Wasps, exhibiting the highest number of lyric-epirrematic amoibaia.
