Nazione, regione, paese? Norcia nel post-sisma tra comunità locale e società nazionale

This research aims to understand which territorial level (continental, national or local) the Norcia population fits in, after the 2016 earthquake, both from an external and internal point of view in relation to the local community. Two methodologies have been adopted: a study about the newspapers coverage and interviews to the local population. Recognising the great importance of Norcia inhabitants’ identification in the national community and in the city itself is the main achievement emerged by the research work: the local identity, indeed, could be a crucial element during the post-disaster phase.
