The development of reproductive medicine has allowed a relativization of the family paradigm. Thanks to the donation of genetic material, in fact, even homosexual couples can access parenthood. However, in Italy the law prevents same-sex couples from becoming parents. Through an analysis that integrates semiotics and social research, the following work aims to demonstrate how the perspective assumed by Italian law has an ideological and discriminatory physiognomy.
