The aim of guidance programs is not so much to boost enrolments and promote the use of university services, but above all, to provide students with support and guidance in choosing an educational program that suits them. Technology can play a fundamental role in achieving this aim by enabling professionals in the field of guidance to innovate methodologies and forms, to promote inclusion and not dispersion, to foster interaction with students moving beyond one-way communication. The University of Urbino offers an e-guidance website based on an online guidance project that has given rise to a community of students, professors, tutors, and student services staff. Abstract

Today developing complex guidance programs has become a necessity. Such programs are no longer considered episodic events but permanent fixtures, which are not only informative but also educational. The community participates in live events and accesses recorded materials and products, also helping to produce webinars, online interviews, discussions, virtual maps and guided tours, texts, stories, videos and other contents on the Web.
