In this essay, I raise two main theses: the first claims the qualitative difference and superiority of human beings over other living beings. I identify in this thesis the meaning of “humanism” and, in its negation, the meaning of “anti-humanism”. The second thesis explains the nexus between humanism and anthropocentrism, which can be sustained in two ways. The right one does not consider the human being to be the creator of himself, being aware of his limits. The wrong is modern anthropocentrism, which is “exclusive” and represents a form of antitheism that plays God to nature.

Abstract
In this essay, I raise two main theses: the first claims the qualitative difference and superiority of human beings over other living beings. I identify in this thesis the meaning of “humanism” and, in its negation, the meaning of “anti-humanism”. The second thesis explains the nexus between humanism and anthropocentrism, which can be sustained in two ways. The right one does not consider the human being to be the creator of himself, being aware of his limits. The wrong is modern anthropocentrism, which is “exclusive” and represents a form of antitheism that plays God to nature.File in questo prodotto:
