The proposed work is part of a research project of the University of Urbino for a Plan for the conservation, valorization, and management of its architectural heritage – thirty-five buildings of which eleven are historic buildings owned in the historic center – and movable works contained therein. The project is developed in perfect synergy with the strategic objectives of the UNESCO Site Management Plan (the historic center of Urbino has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1998) and has the objective of defining a conservation and valorization plan sustainable and inclusive historical- architectural heritage through the creation of a new digital model capable of improving, thanks also to the simplification of procedures, the efficiency of the management of both the immovable and mobile heritage of the University. For the eleven historic buildings the studio experiments with an operational workflow that starts from the analysis of historical archive sources, with particular attention to the technical-constructive aspects, and from direct investigation, up to the identification of the best interventions and application of new documentary protocols for the communication of heritage in its various aspects ‘building and contained works’. The contribution therefore after having illustrated the research project, focuses on some critical reflections relating both to the new strategic vision adopted – the latter capable of structuring real organizational processes for managing the conservation and valorization of immovable and movable heritage – and the actions that have been undertaken to date.

Abstract
The contribution therefore after having illustrated the research project, focuses on some critical reflections relating both to the new strategic vision adopted – the latter capable of structuring real organizational processes for managing the conservation and valorization of immovable and movable heritage – and the actions that have been undertaken to date.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
