The article aims at formulating some final recommendations at both national and European level and thus some suggestions about what should be done with a view to correcting or mitigating all the critical aspects of the meat value chain emerged in the course of the research activities. The recommendations deal with the following aspects: enhancing cooperation between Meat-up Fffire and EFFAT; strengthening transnational union cooperation; leveraging the European dimension; working conditions; far wages to hinder social dumping; limiting the use of subcontracting; more inclusive industrial relations; more migrant oriented industrial relations; ecological and technological transition.
