Shortly after the failure of the rectoral experience, during the summer semester of 1935, the metaphysical interpretation of the technical mobilization of the world is already at the center of Heidegger's thought, who traces this phenomenon to a concomitant process of "transformation (...) of the spirit into intelligence". Only a spiritual awakening, a renewed experience of the mediating struggle - a new foundational exposure to the imposition of being, through which the horizon is "continuously creatively surpassed" - would allow at this point a re-fluidification of the historical sense, the opening of a new horizon and therefore of a new historicity. This experience, however, is precisely what is now - or still - missing and that art could perhaps reawaken. Rediscovering the essence of art as a spiritual political action, removing it from the culturalist aesthetic conception, is therefore indispensable for a new beginning of European history.

Abstract
Rediscovering the essence of art as a spiritual political action, removing it from the culturalist aesthetic conception, is therefore indispensable for a new beginning of European history.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
