The diffusion of digital technologies has determined a great change in the recording of the spatial data. The development of the systems to scanning together with the traditional methods what the topography and the photogrammetry have contributed to a depth change. The use of the laser scanners and the realization of complexes models, navigable and measurable, or the procedures of in relief data management introduce new problems of approach to the structure to measure, to return, to interpret. The spatial data, in fact, allow to working out models of great scientific value and they can be interpreted as you digital file. Such database threedimensional they allow to not only exalt the informative-spatial aspect of the in relief ones with their geometry, but also that communicative. These aspects increase notably the value of the geometric representation and all the inter-connected elements. The goal of this contribution is that to show the existence of new possibilities of interaction and use of the data, with the purpose to guarantee the full spatial value and to introduce the information to the collectivity in virtual reality. The case of study describes the application of methodologies laser scanner near the Fort S. Elmo of Malta (European Project P.A.G.U.S.). The job has allowed to elaborate virtual models that allow to temporally check the state of maintenance of the architectural good in order to restoration, recovery, control of the structural deformations and cataloguing.

Abstract
The job has allowed to elaborate virtual models that allow to temporally check the state of maintenance of the architectural good in order to restoration, recovery, control of the structural deformations and cataloguing.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
