The Project of the University of Urbino “Carl Bo'", in collaboration with the Municipality and of the JU “Museum and Galleries of Podgorica and with the British School at Rome, is finalized to the documentation of the archaeological site of Doclea (Montenegro). The objective was to make the knowledge in sight of future participations of conservation and valorization of the same site. A exact work of documentation of the archaeological area has been completed through the employment of various methodologies of survey and the consequent combination of different typology of information. The survey the archaeological area of Doclea has interested all and in particular the area of the hole through integration of various technologies: topography, photogrammetry and scanner laser. Successively to the topographical survey they have been realized of the photogrammetric elaborations with air photographs realized the Italian Military Geographic Institute in 1942. Other cartographies have been obtained through the elaboration of an image to satellite QuickBird with resolution to earth of 0.60, acquired one from Telespazio. The knowledge of the archaeological site has been considered like the fundamental foundation for the planning of the future archaeological excavation.
