The study aimed to verify specific methane yield (SMY) in a digestion process of a mixture of a digestated biological sludge with two biomasses. The anaerobic digestion tests were performed in batch mode and at mesophilic conditions. Biomasses considered were: plum-stones and a flowering plant scientifically classified as Isatis Tinctoria L. Substrates with the flowering plant showed the best performance, with SMY of 153.1 NmL g-1, then we correlated the methane yield with the characterization of substrates before (Feed) and after digestion (Dig) by means of several techniques. Results obtained provided evidence of distinctive characteristic of the final product as a function of the different composition of the biomasses used into the digestion plant. The samples exhibited a diverse chemical pattern in term of VS, TS, etc. Additional variations were observed for thermal profile and FT-IR spectra, in particular a predominant proteinaceous and lignin nature of plum-stones substrate was evident respect to Isatis Tinctoria one.

Abstract
Additional variations were observed for thermal profile and FT-IR spectra, in particular a predominant proteinaceous and lignin nature of plum-stones substrate was evident respect to Isatis Tinctoria one.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
