Physical activity is an essential element in the growing age. Today, we are in the center of an hurricane caused by an international crisis that affects not only economics and politics of the Nations, but also cultural and ethical development of the citizens. The adoption of active and healthy lifestyles is particularly affected by this picture and, in turn, it affects the motor skills and the physical self-concept of the children in the growing age. Moreover, physical activity and sport – beyond to be insufficient in terms of weekly hours – usually are performed with only one goal in mind: the score. The studies included in the present review highlight that educating toward and active lifestyle since early years hood may positively influence all the aspects of the personality and help in structuring cognitive, social and ethical competence

Abstract

Physical activity is an essential element in the growing age.
