The Pyramidellidae found in the early-mid Piacenzian succession of Lagune di Sasso Marconi (Bologna) are taxonomically evaluated. Specifically the following genera and species were retrieved: 9 genera, 31 species. Among the 31 species of Pyramidellidae here identified, one of these (Liostomia clavula) is reported for the first time in the pliocenic sequence of the tosco-emiliano basin.
