Abstract
Especially during the last decade, lychnological studies have offered a substantial contribution to define a literary and iconographical repertory on the Greek and Roman forms and methods of the lighting devices. Nevertheless, this repertory may be continuously implemented as well as newly discussed. The contribution focuses on these questions by examining literary and iconographical evidences less known. Until now, e.g, little attention has been reserved to arguments like the relationship between lighting and artistic production in ancient world.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
