The papers concerns a cameo in the National Archaelogical Museum of Florence. which was already in the Medicean collection. The piece has been judjed by Ludwig Curtius a modern work, but without sure elements. The paper aims two goals: do not exclude the authenticity of the cameo and to recognize the carved representation. This presents probably a romanized version of the Iphigeneia' story in Tauris.
