This work focuses on ll. 117-177 of Aeschylus’ Eumenides. The lyrical text is presented according to the manuscript colometry, accompanied by a synthetic critical apparatus and an apparatus of ancient and modern colometries. Subsequently, an in-depth reflection on the particular musical and dramaturgical structure of ll. 117-139 is dealt with. They are significant of a very peculiar stage situation, which makes this parodos unique in the surviving Aeschylean corpus.
