The study analyses the correlation between an extended constant educational activity, taking place in a natural environment, and its potential benefits and improvements on the motor level in 5 year-old children. The research is based on an experimental project called “Natural-mente” (Naturally), which lasted eight months and included 42 children from a pre-primary school in Pesaro (Marche, Italy). The project aims at carrying out planned motor activities and outdoor free play, in particular in the school’s garden, one morning per week. The results obtained through the use of the TGMD test (Test of Gross Motor Development) were subsequently elaborated and analysed with the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) programme

Abstract
The study analyses the correlation between an extended constant educational activity, taking place in a natural environment, and its potential benefits and improvements on the motor level in 5 year-old children. The research is based on an experimental project called “Natural-mente” (Naturally), which lasted eight months and included 42 children from a pre-primary school in Pesaro (Marche, Italy). The project aims at carrying out planned motor activities and outdoor free play, in particular in the school’s garden, one morning per week. The results obtained through the use of the TGMD test (Test of Gross Motor Development) were subsequently elaborated and analysed with the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) programmeI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
