The territorial dimension of political changes is at the core of a vibrant debate in which the emergence of (neo)populism is mainly interpreted as an outcome of the inequalities and social changes that affect the political demand. The present work, through the development of a case study focused on the Marche region, aims at shed light on the importance of the elements that define the political supply. The analysis shows the relationship patterns between political par- ties and the territory and the quality of local administration as core variables in orienting the shift of consensus from mainstream parties towards anti-establishment ones.

Abstract
The territorial dimension of political changes is at the core of a vibrant debate in which the emergence of (neo)populism is mainly interpreted as an outcome of the inequalities and social changes that affect the political demand. The present work, through the development of a case study focused on the Marche region, aims at shed light on the importance of the elements that define the political supply. The analysis shows the relationship patterns between political par- ties and the territory and the quality of local administration as core variables in orienting the shift of consensus from mainstream parties towards anti-establishment ones.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
