Archeologia ed epigrafia a Cirene in tempi di crisi. Nuovi rinvenimenti dalla chora e dalla Necropoli Sud

This paper presents four new inscriptions discovered during the surveys carried out by the Università di Urbino in Cyrene in April 2019. The documents consist of two marble bases and a funerary marble slab, found at the South Necropolis at Cyrene next to the road leading towards ancient Balagrae (al-Bayda), and a limestone cippus, found in situ in the southern area of the ancient town. Along with the epigraphical examination of the texts, a discussion of the original context of provenance is provided.
