The text aims to compare the technical details of human rights “categories” in the modern and present world (from Francisco de Vitoria to the the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948), with the awareness that the existence of such rights can be traced back to the oldest religious records, and specially to the historical records of Hammurabi Code, Cyrus Cylinder, Edicts of Ashoka.
