The main aim of this work was to investigate children’s behaviours in bullying episodes interrelated with both interpersonal-situational variables (Social Preference, Social Impact) and personal-dispositional variables (Empathy, Emotion Comprehension). We carried out a cross-sectional study with 202 kindergarteners. The results showed that prosocial behaviors are positively linked to Social Preference and personal-dispositional variables; hostile behaviours are bi-directionally linked with social status (negatively with Social Preference, positively with Social Impact). Results showed that from early childhood, being visible and being liked are distinct aspects and wield different influences on role-taking.
