Il saggio si pone il duplice obiettivo di illustrare il documento che dimostra la partecipazione di Niccolò Angèli al circolo degli Orti Oricellari e di mettere in luce, analizzando le dediche delle opere composte dall’umanista e quelle delle edizioni giuntine da lui curate, la rete di relazioni che seppe intrecciare con personaggi di primo piano della politica e della cultura del suo tempo. In appendice è collocata l’analisi della tradizione manoscritta e a stampa delle opere dell’Angèli, con la pub- blicazione di alcune tra le dedicatorie inedite piú interessanti. The essay has the dual objective of illustrating the document that demonstrates Niccolò An- gèli’s participation in the Orti Oricellari circle and to highlight, by analyzing the dedications of the works composed by the humanist and those in the Giuntine editions edited by him, the network of relationships that he was able to forge with political and cultural leading figures of his time. In the appendix there is an analysis of the manuscript and printed tradition of Angèli’s works, together with the publication of some of the most interesting unpublished dedicatory notes.
