La natura e la morte

Il saggio elabora un’interpretazione di come la natura, la tecnica e la politica si articolino nel pensiero di Martin Heidegger. Il colpo di avvio è la lettura del frammento eracliteo 123, circa la physis che ama nascondersi. L’idea che lo muove è che l’occultamento che la physis predilige non è ciò che la perde, bensì l’elemento in cui la sua più propria possibilità di essere riposa mutando. Decisiva è la comparsa della steresis nell’orizzonte della physis attraverso la lettura di Heidegger del pensiero di Aristotele. Come usare le categorie modali di potenza e atto? Se la steresis è in un certo qual modo anche forma, allora non può dirsi che la privazione comporta una negazione determinata; essa va intesa come un assentarsi della presenza, un modo del sottrarsi da ciò che si schiude che rivela ancora una volta la predilezione della physis a nascondersi. Una ragazza indicibile è sulla soglia che congiunge i viventi e i morti. Il pensiero dell’essere avverte il pericolo che l’umanità si congedi dal campo del possibile che fiorisce in seno alla physis. È la negazione della steresis come privazione di essere che apre la questione della tecnica. Ecco il Gestell, l’impianto, l’imposizione del dispositivo rivelare la messa a regime di una forma politica che risponde al suo comando anche dove esso ha cessato di dare ordine: prima l’artificio del Leviatano dallo stato di natura; poi la provocazione del governo dell’economia che impiega la democrazia politica nel vuoto di potere del nichilismo compiuto. The essay elaborates an interpretation of how nature, technology and politics are articulated in the thought of Martin Heidegger. The opening shot is the reading of the Heraclitean fragment 123 about the physis which loves to hide. The idea that drives him is that the concealment that physis prefers is not what loses physis, but rather the element in which the most proper possibility of being for physis rests by changing. The appearance of steresis in the horizon of physis through Heidegger's reading of Aristotle's thought is decisive. How to use the modal categories of potency and act? If steresis is to a certain extent also form, then it cannot be said that privation entails a specific negation; it must be instead understood as an absence of presence, a way of withdrawing from what opens up which once again reveals the predilection of physis to hide. An unspeakable maiden stands on the edge which rejoins the living and the dead. The thought of being feels the danger that humanity takes leave of the dimension of what is possible, which is a dimension flourishing within the physis. It is the denial of steresis as privation of being that opens up the question of technique. Gestell, the system, the imposition of the device reveals the implementation of a political form that responds to its command even where it has ceased to give orders: first the artifice of the Leviathan with the state of nature; then, the provocation of the government of the economy which employs political democracy in the power vacuum of accomplished nihilism.
