To what extent does the quality of the materials to be carved or sculpted direct the choice of a subject during the graphic design? And how much does the technique contribute to the result, also from a stylistic-formal point of view? How much then does the symbolic meaning attributed to the individual stones guide the choice of the subject? And how much the art literature intervenes in the appreciation of the finished product?
