To face increasingly complex contexts, organizations need people equipped with hard and soft skills and must seek to create an organizational environment that provides them with empowerment, sense of responsibility, and trigger their capability to contribute to achieve the organizations’ goals through an appropriate leadership style, according to the situational context. In this vein, charismatic leaders are transformational, as they arouse inspirational motivation, provide intellectual stimulation, and treat followers with individualized consideration (Avolio & Bass, 1987), driving them to reach their full potential, generate higher levels of performances, and achieve the company’s goals.
