The present article aims to provide a reflection about limit as a negative concept, on the basis of Heidegger’s thesis about Nothing and negativity exposed in his lesson What is Methaphysics? This will prepare the ground to show that limit should not be understood as a concept at all, but rather as an “existentive” experience. I will therefore explore the meaning of this particular perspective on limit by examining the role of limit in Heidegger’s analysis of existence. This exam will consent to clarify the essential bond which connects limit and existence.
