This short essay, after a brief consideration on the digital identity, examines the jurisprudential evolution of the right to be forgotten focusing on the discipline introduced by the GDPR. It deepens also the problematic profiles after the approval of the European Regulation in order to consider the possibility to configure a specific right to be forgotten digitally.
