Il lento cammino di affermazione del dialogo tra UE, chiese e organizzazioni filosofiche e non confessionali. Un’occasione mancata di valorizzazione?

Article 17 of the TFEU, and in particular its third paragraph, represents the point of synthesis of a European pathway in which the institutions have intended to weave a network of dialogue with social representations on the religious, philosophical and non-confessional front. This space of confrontation has as its prerequisite the recognition of the identity and specific contribution of which the actors themselves are spokesmen, holding all the potential to become a privileged tool for offering keys to interpret new emerging issues, from the environment to AI to humanitarian and war crises. However, the legacies of the past, in which territorial religions have enjoyed a margin of intervention, risk nullifying and rendering futile the indispensable contribution that the representatives of the interests referred to can offer to current issues, each with his or her own heritage and cultural background.
