The widespread use of ethnography has sparked interdisciplinary debates on various issues, including the relationship between data collection, categorization, representativeness, experience, and sensoriality, as well as the role of writing and creative methods. This article contributes to these discussions by examining the integration of diverse media and techniques—such as video, audio, photography, and other digital tools—into ethnographic texts. While reaffirming the centrality of writing as a tool for reflexivity and methodological objectivity, it explores the possibilities and implications of employing multimodal heuristics in the production of situated knowledge.

Abstract
The widespread use of ethnography has sparked interdisciplinary debates on various issues, including the relationship between data collection, categorization, representativeness, experience, and sensoriality, as well as the role of writing and creative methods. This article contributes to these discussions by examining the integration of diverse media and techniques—such as video, audio, photography, and other digital tools—into ethnographic texts. While reaffirming the centrality of writing as a tool for reflexivity and methodological objectivity, it explores the possibilities and implications of employing multimodal heuristics in the production of situated knowledge.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
