This volume documents the experience of the Urbino POT, carried out within the framework of the national network "Universities, Schools and Territories in Network for Cultural Heritage", with a specific focus on issues related to contemporary communication. The Urbino project was primarily implemented through a cycle of orientation seminars and laboratories delivered by University of Urbino faculty in upper secondary schools that addressed key topics such as critical thinking, artificial intelligence, the role of images in communication, digital well-being, and online expertise, employing an interactive and workshop-based approach in line with POT methodological guidelines. The volume mirrors the project’s main areas of intervention and frames orientation as a continuum from interpretive competence to epistemic responsibility and civic agency. It aims to equip students and teachers with tools to critically interpret communication languages and consciously inhabit today’s informational and relational environments.
