Abstract
The essay questions Mancini’s reading of Kant’s theory throughout his work. Yet it finds its origin in the youthful interest that the philosopher had in Plato’s non-being, a problem to which he responded with his first important theoretical book, Ontologia fondamentale. The transcendental as a foundation made him embark on the adventure of dialectics, which paves the way for the radical antinomiality of truth. Nonethe- less, the proposal of a philosophy of double thoughts is imagined to be different in its declination if its logic is exposed in the "chora" of being, the open region in which Plato placed the sensible and the intelligible in front of an idea that can be touched by a logos accompanied by an absence of sensation. It is such a thing of thought that passes from the land of truth cultivated by the I think to the sea of inevitable illusion crossed by metaphysics, the very thing of thought becoming a thing in itself. A concept to which no object corresponds, an empty space, precisely, which, nevertheless, is entrusted with the task of acting as a lim- iting concept of experience. The wise man listens to Kant as he exposes himself in such a passage of thought, where even the division between the possible and the impossible falls away. But at the same time, having received the double thoughts in the chora of being, he feels that he is in a space of invocation, where our intellect also receives a negative ex- tension; that is, it is no longer limited by sensibility, but rather it limits it, due to the fact that it names the thing in itself as noumenon. And with this same thing, the intellect also places upon itself the limit of not be- ing able to know it through any category, but only of being able to think it under the name of something unknown.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
