The paper deals with the problem of the logic of moral reasoning from an educational perspective. Training the ability to reason about moral issues is interpreted as one of the directions of ethical-social education. Potentials and limitations of the logical-formal approach to moral reasoning are discussed. The article is divided into three parts. In the first part, the relationship between logic and reasoning is clarified. Next, the problem of identifying logics that can support moral reasoning (deontic logic and formal ethics) is addressed. Finally, certain implications that affect knowledge to be taught are discussed.
